I specialize in the development and application of mechanistic forecasting models for addressing applied problems in the environmental sciences.  I have a long history of collaborating with students, researchers, and environmental professionals throughout the world.  My contributions include co-founding the Computational Ecology Group (www.ceg.group), and creating the HexSim model development environment (www.hexsim.net).
